The Glen Echo Improvement
Association encourages lake residents to join the Association. In
addition to regular newsletters, meetings, and fundraisers, the
Association is actively involved in a variety of lake related issues.
Some of these include lake weed management and water quality monitoring
conducted by Lycott Environmental,
and the compilation and distribution of the Boating
Rules and Courtesies.
Membership dues are $25
per year per household (maximum of two votes per household) or $225
for lifetime membership (non-transferable). Dues are due by April
1 of each year. We suggest a $70 per year weed contribution to help
pay for the lake management weed treatment program conducted by
Lycott. This is a voluntary contribution that is tax deductible.
GEIA is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
