The Glen Echo
Improvement Association (GEIA) was founded in 1972 as a non-profit
organization. We have a current membership of approximately 115
residents. There are five elected officers who serve a two (2) year
term, and three elected association members who serve a three year
term as members on the Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee
consists of the five officers and the three advisory committee members. Click here for GEIA By-Laws.
We are an
all volunteer board. GEIA meets in May, June, July, August, and
September. If needed, we also meet in February. We mail our GEIA
Newsletter prior to meetings. Our latest
meeting minutes are posted on the website to keep lake residents
updated. We have several committees
within GEIA and we welcome anyone interested to check them out and
join if interested!
