The Glen Echo
Improvement Association (GEIA) was founded in 1972 as a non-profit
organization. We have a current membership of approximately 115
residents. There are four (4) elected officers who serve a three (3) year
term, and three elected association members who serve as Advisory Committee members. The Advisory Board
consists of the four officers and three advisory members.
We are a VOLUNTEER organization. GEIA typically meets once per month, May through September, as needed. Meetings are announced via email, on this website and posted around the lake.
Newsletters are mailed in the spring to all residents, with updates posted on the website or sent out via email during the year.
We have several committees within GEIA and we welcome anyone interested to check them out and join if interested!
